Day Break Runs Online
Posted Tuesday, January 16, 2007
On Sunday, ABC announced a return date for “Dancing With the Stars,” which comes back March 19. The popular reality show will now air on Mondays, well out of the way of the “American Idol” phenomenon.
“We wanted people to not have to choose between "Idol" and "Dancing,” ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson told reporters at the TCA press tour in Pasadena. “I think our fans would have been upset, "Idol" fans would have been upset if we just put them head to head.”
Also, ABC promised that the seven remaining episodes of “Day Break,” which was yanked from the network’s schedule last fall, will be available online by the end of February. (The return might be much sooner than that, I will keep you posted if I find out a specific date.)
The network had hoped to make the unaired episodeds available in December, but music licensing issues held up the online release of those “Day Break” episodes. But fans of the show should get resolution some time soon.
