27 times down the aisle, as a bridesmaid, can do some weird things to a person as illustrated in "27 Dresses," released on DVD today. Katherine Heigl stars as the friend of many married friends.
"And she's getting ready to do it a 28th time for her sister," Film Critic Keith Van Sickle said. "And the little wrinkle in this is that she falls for her sister's fiance."
James Marsden, of "Enchanted" and "Hairspray" fame, plays the fiance.
Heigl found fame on "Grey's Anatomy, and Van Sickle now believes that her career "out of all the people who are on that show" is the most likely to take off.
Van Sickle recommends this movie as a great romantic comedy to rent, but probably not to buy unless you're really into the actors.
See what 27 bridesmaid dresses looks like in a Heigl's closet in the video clip above.
