24-year-old man killed in car accident, three others injured

A 24-year-old Scranton man was the driver of a 2003 Chevy Malibu that rolled during a one-vehicle accident Sunday in the 1400 block of SW 103rd Street.
Eric S. Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car's occupants where Ashley J. Hale, 18, of Scranton; Jerrid W. Johnston, 24, of Topeka; and Bree Crawford, 19, of Topeka. Hale was transported to St. Francis. Johnston was life-flighted to Stormont-Vail, and Crawford was taken to Stormont-Vail and later life-flighted to a Kansas City-area hospital. All three have life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed Kennedy and Hale were not wearing seatbelts, but Johnston and Crawford were.
Law officers say alcohol and speed are being investigated as possible factors for the accident.
