Fans ponder questions before the Jayhawks' home opener

It's been eight long months since the Kansas football team last played a game.
This Saturday, the long wait ends when the Jayhawks host Florida International in their home opener.
But how will the Jayhawks' new freshmen offensive tackles Jeremiah Hatch and Jeff Spikes fare?
Who will take over the on-field leadership role on defense in place of Aqib Talib?
And how will the Jayhawks new two-back system work with Jake Sharp and Jocques Crawford?
"See us go out there and really put in all the hard work that we put in for a year now...you know, this started in January. I actually want to see it all come together and I just want to see, you know, us have fun out there," junior running back jake Sharp said. "That's what it's about. I wanna go out, I wanna have fun, you know, with Todd. Todd wants to have fun, that's why we play."
"I think it's one of the natural feelings about holding yourself to a higher standard and expecting more of yourself. I'm wondering if I'm going to get there fast enough, if I'll see this, if I'll see that, how'll I react to this, how'll I react to that," junior safety Darrell Stuckey said. "Just give me a minute to get myself mentally prepared to react and make everything natural and make the game come to me and not force anything upon myself that I shouldn't be doing."
The Jayhawks battle the Golden Panthers this Saturday in Lawrence.
