49 Sports Challenge: Paintballing the town red

The guys from the "Destruction" paintball team asked me to get a team together and swap some paint with them on the battlefield.

Destruction is a local paintball team that travels across the state taking on other teams on the field of battle.

The guys who sling the paint at each go into the sport for one reason and one reason only, the rush.

The captain Eric Martell started Team Destruction so he could take his hobby to the next level.

So you've met Team Destruction. Team 49 consists of myself, of course, 49 Meteorologist Craig Gold and Mike Lutjen, who works in sales. Apparently we novice players don't stand a chance.

And game two was a lot like game one and, as predicted, Team 49 got smoked two games to none.

So that brings the grand total to one and six in Sports Challenges this season.
